SMS stuff
I decided to add SMS cellphone texting to client sites that
need instant contact from their websites..
The basic code is as easy as it gets but,,,
first buy some service, shop price and tarriffs.,
now do i want to:
send images?, send icons? RingTones?
Receive Emails, forward emails,
6 hours later i forgot to find a service i liked.
Lots of SDKs and Code for all sorts of details..
Is this even a good deal?
I'm tired, maybe tomorrow...
anyone have any ideas?

I had tried something like this before, but because of all the different mobile service providers it's hard to implement a constant rate and whatnots. But if you could get it to work it would be great!

I got it working..
I added it to follow my spam protected contact form..
Press one more button, mine has a password for clients only ...
The bulk of the installation was the support code and
i will build an address book with message history and options.
You know, making and uploading ring tones.. and what not.

Not to be rude, but are you attempting to make sense? I couldn't really follow or understand any of your posts. I was interested in reading what you did to get the SMS send working, but I couldn't comprehend anything from what you wrote.

What SMS tool? That is the large part of this entire thread that you failed to mention, clarify, or explain.

The details..
Sorry, it maybe the coffee or that i am an engineer.
either way,, sorry, i will expand on the subject.
I could not find a service based in the US so
i went with clickatell,,
the option of different services exists but this
one let me practice the code for free.
The PHP interface is real easy.
They provide it.
the work was the support code.
the contact page at my site is protected from robots
with my own version of Captcha.
Then when the client sends the form to me they
are offered the option of sending it to my cellphone as well.
Most of the interface was easy, the supporting code,,
the log, the password protection and the landing pages
made up most of the work envolved.
not too hard.

Uhh, right.
"Engineer"? Engineering doesn't mean anything if you blame things on it, or you use it as a shield. I'm halfway to being a Computer Engineer, and I don't see any class or manual that says "As an Engineer, communicate only as you want, and then blame your schooling when people don't understand"
Sorry I asked. I'm done with this.

It was easier to become an electronics expert than it was to become an
internet expert.
35 years of technology and engineering and some can not understand
english.
Sorry ..
no doubt a windows man...
Good luck with your C++

Seriously? I didn't come here to be engaged in a flame war, but I don't appreciate your arrogance.
C++? I know and use more languages than you can imagine. I've only used C++ once, and that's because I had to.
Windows? I use Linux.
If you want to act like this, you should go somewhere else. Somewhere where people will tolerate your attitude and maybe even respond with a few 'l0l h@xxzorz'.
Cut the crap, cut the arrogance, cut the attitude, cut the games.
You're here because you need help, not because you're better than everyone else. Grow the hell up.

As i said in my first reply to you. I am sorry for
any misunderstandings.
I am getting old and maybe i can't tell if i am being an ***.
I thought you were repeatedly rude but it must be my mistake.
Sorry again.
Me
I come here because i came here a few years ago.
If you feel i should not return.
