Search your Site Solutions
I recently wrote an article on when and how to add search functionality to your website. What site search solutions have you guys used, outside of CMS's?
It would help if you include a link.
Currently, I'm trying out freefind.com on my blog site, getasiteonline.com. (That's just until I switch over to new blog software.) Seems decent enough, though there are limitations to the free version. It does allow a nice amount of customization of the results page.

The only one we have used, and still do, is FreeFind - find it works well.

Have you used any of the packages you pay for, Webmistress?

I use atomz on html site (is free), although they changed their name to westside something or rather. Works well but is one of the reasons the navigation is on the right.

If I had a static site I would use EchoSearch http://www.echoarticles.com/echosearch/index.php. Just because I know the developer and it's the same one he uses in EchoAricles, which I really like.

Thanks teammatt3, bookmarked it for future reference... seems to be a good script...
