I'm interested in setting up a local search engine. Are there any free or cheap cgi scripts.

It needs to be sexy looking and in the same looks as some of the big boys (google, astavista, etc.) and be fully automated so users can add their sites. Also some sort of spider system to track the sites so dead links can be found would be good.

Any ideas?

It has a directory of many free cgi scripts...
