Scrollable Content II - how do I display it more than once on my page?
Scrollable Iframe Content III
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/iframescroll.htm
Hello everyone,
I REALLY like the Scrollable Content III script made available by dynamica drive. As you can see, it is a VERY simple and useful script.
However, when I have more than one on a page, it scrolls ALL iframes at once on the page, instead of doing them each individually.
How can I have multiple iframes using this script on the same page? I need to have at least 9-10 of these things on one page and help with this would be appreciated!
Thanks a bunch!
Ryan

Why not just use regular iframes? Then you won't have this issue.
I'm sorry but your very old browser doesn't support the iframe element or the markup used on the web today.
You can have as many on your page as you want. Just change src= name= and width and height accordingly.
But I must warn you that bunches of iframes on a page can be a usability nightmare.

I always hate it when people ignore the question and decide what the person wants instead of letting the person decide for themself.
The solution is easy, but time consuming, there may be a more efficient way, but sorry, I am not finding out for you. You have to change only one thing, but you have to change it about 10 times. The scrollspeed variable. If you change it to scrollspeedone, scrollspeedtwo, etc (on the main page in the up/down mouseovers/outs, and in the framed page, window.parent.scrollspeed) just change scroll speed to anything, but do it consistently, and it will work.

Hey CptAwesome - thanks so much for the reply, I REALLY appreciate it!
What you said fixed my problem and it works perfectly now...so I really appreciate you taking the time out to explain it to me and help me out. Now, my iframes have really cool looking scrollbars - yay!
