A question to webmasters!!
Hi all, as some of you may know I run a webmasters resource site - Stickysauce.com I dont know if this should go in this topic, and I hope no one thinks Im deliberatly plugging my site or anything, Its just that I really do need imput becuse I think my site is lacking something. Ive already posted it up for a review and its OK design wise - its content wise that I need imput on.
I would be interested to know what type of content/resources would make you visit a webmasters resource website. What would you like to see on a webmasters resource site.
If possible too, what type of sites do you normaly go to.
The reason I ask is because your replys will give me a good guage of what I need to add/remove from my site as I am striving to make my site the best place to go for webmasters I am constantly thinking of new content and resources to add to my site and it is now time where I need help as Im running out of ideas. (Maybe I have all I need on my site)
Anyway any imput would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Sticky.

From what I've looked at on your site you seem to have a very useful collection of resources. One thing I would like is more information about a site. If I come to your site looking for another site that will give me a specific script for example, I'd want some sort of indication as to which site would be likely to provide me with what I need. So some sort of quality and quantity rating system might be helpful.
ANother thing I've noticed is that you seem to be mixing Java and JavaScript - this i a bit confusing because they are two totally different things.
Under "Sticky Tools" some of the items are more like directories and others are actual tools on your own site. Move anything directory-like up with into scripts menu and call it "directories".

One thing you could do, I suggest, without making this another critique, is add a little description of what your site is about and it's goal on your main page. This should help steer new visitors like me in the right direction - it can be hard at first, when you have good domain, but it doesn't necessary pertain to any topic.

I just wanted to back up the rating system. Both rating on search matches and how well they match the search, and user ratings. Mabey a scale for basic to advanced as well on tutorials. This is from a complete newb, but a lot of those will see your site, and I love ratings and whatnot.

This might be off the topic, but I like your website. The content is very nicely presented.
