Problems with An Article Dashboard Site
Hi Anyone got any experience with articledashboard installations?
I have just created a website using this script and am getting a 404 page not found error when I click on any of the catagories or submitted articles. Other than that it all seems to work fine.

(mod_rewrite is turned on in php settings by the way)

I've never heard of that script, unfortunately. You say mod_rewrite is turned on in PHP, but it's an Apache thing, the rules are in
.htacessfiles. I also notice that you're using a free host, so it's likely that -- even if you have switched mod_rewrite on in a .htaccess file -- that they don't support it.I did look through the hosts site and can't find whether they do or don't support mod_rewrite. The problem is almost definitely something to do with that though. :-/
Have you been able to get it working on your local machine at all? That might be the best way to diagnose whether the problem is with the script or the server.

Just came back to update my post saying I had found the problem, I tend to try things out on the free host, then move them to a dedicated domain once I get the creases ironed out, But you are right on the nail, Its deffinately the free hosting, mod_rewrite is not the problem tho its several other php settings that they dont support for "security reasons"".

Always the free host making problems and also many restrictions on it. But free host(Linux) support almost features) like shared.... You did not contact support for this issue.. if what was the response....
