png transparent
Hi,
I have a problem to my logo. I already set it to transparent, but it show gray in IE. (Work fine for firefox) The file format is in png and my site is Minisite Forum. Please have a look and help. Thanks in advance.

Internet Explorer doesn't support PNG properly yet, and as far as i know there is no way around it.

Not quite correct. If you are going to be using the image in an![]()
tag then you can use this method to show png images in IE:
http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/pngbehavior/pngbehavior.html
If instead you want to use your png as a background image then you will have to use the more complex ALA method:
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/pngopacity/

yeah i tried that once before but never got it to work so i refuse to believe it lol.
hardly ideal really anyway but i guess it's a decent hack if you NEED it!

Yes its really only if you must use png for your design. I would stick to other methods if possible. Its probably not worth the hassle.

Personally I'd try persuading everyone to switch to a decent browser!

The behavior only works on png's in an![]()
tag and not png's as background images. This can be a huge pain!
