png transparent

Hi,

I have a problem to my logo. I already set it to transparent, but it show gray in IE. (Work fine for firefox) The file format is in png and my site is Minisite Forum. Please have a look and help. Thanks in advance.

Internet Explorer doesn't support PNG properly yet, and as far as i know there is no way around it.

Not quite correct. If you are going to be using the image in an tag then you can use this method to show png images in IE:
http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/pngbehavior/pngbehavior.html

If instead you want to use your png as a background image then you will have to use the more complex ALA method:
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/pngopacity/

yeah i tried that once before but never got it to work so i refuse to believe it lol.

hardly ideal really anyway but i guess it's a decent hack if you NEED it!

Yes its really only if you must use png for your design. I would stick to other methods if possible. Its probably not worth the hassle.

Personally I'd try persuading everyone to switch to a decent browser!

The behavior only works on png's in an tag and not png's as background images. This can be a huge pain!
