Plz Help! Must Read!!!!!!!
hi
i have a huge cache problem......after i have designed my site - i have obviously previewed it alot right...then i launch it..all cool but when i update it with new content i cant see the updates - even after i emptied my temp folders....i can only see the updates in like 2 days? I have tested IE AND OPERA - same problem??
so now daily visitors to my site cant see the updates?!
site: zoopedup.com
plz check my meta tags....some1 told me those tags i have @ the top of the page will help but they are not! Is it becuz zoopedup is so graphic intensive...?
Is ther 1 way to make sure that ppl will always see the newest page?????
regards,
radman

you have a problem on the server-side, likely a matter of your host not allowing updates to be immediate. Alternatively, it could be that you are behind a router that has a cache that isn't flushing. Either way, contact your host.

I find holding hold ctrl while hitting reload/refresh can help to display the current page. but it is the server cache holding on to the old one.

if you're continually having problems, then it's most likely your ISP, yup. talk to them too. They may be "saving bandwidth" by caching and only releasing documents after 48 hours -- not good for development! They *should* be serving documents that are unchanged from the cache, and respecting that when documents have changed they should be updated.
