I'm trying to rebuild a site that I lost during a recent server move. In cPanel I first created the database name and then a username/password. I then went over to phpMyadmin and I can't figure out how to import my dump .sql file that I exported before the disaster. I can't find any place to import my .sql file. Please tell me what I'm supposed to do. (Do I need to recreate the tables first? Because if I have to do all that then that's half the work right there.)

Thanks

Open up their SQL menu (on newer version, it is one of the icons on the top left pane)

On the top tabs, click on "Import Files" and then select the SQL file on your system.

Ah ha. Thanks. The import worked fine.

[edit] I was having problems with my webpage accessing the data but I figured it out.
