PHPDev alternative...
Many years ago, I used an Apache, MySQL and PHP bundle program called, PHPDev. This bundle is still available at firepages.com.au however, it seems to be out of date, infact, doesn't seem to have been updated since I last used it.
Now that I'm back on Windows, I'd like to know if there are any other bundles out there similar to PHPDev with up-to-date versions of Apache, MySQL and PHP.

If you're talking about just testing on a local machine, I recently installed this program:

wamp5
xamps
apache2triad - they provide a good control panel and you can run a secure server from your home machine.
I recomemend wamp5 for development. Its good has a nice tray icon with lots of user interfaces to config files and provides the ability to put your site online easily.
