Page reload problem
Greetings!
We've recently changed web hosts.... and since switching have updated the web site. Everyone can get the new pages except the boss on her home dsl connection and laptop. She still gets the old pages! It seems to not be software related because when she takes her laptop to a different house she gets the new pages. How can this be?
TIA,
Tri

It's probably because when a website is moved, the DNS information on the domain changes. She needs to flush the DNS cache on her router and/or laptop. Reseting her modem might also do the trick.

pr0gr4mm3r is right, it could also be her ISP that has the old Web site address cached. There's not a lot you can do in that case, usually this fixes itself after 48 hours or so.

Have you still got the website on the OLD host as well?
If yes then the above may be the answer - if the move was within the last 72 hours.
Otherwise if you don't have the site still on the old server, and her ISP hadn't updated the DNS yet, she wouldn't get any site at all (Page not found etc) making it a different problem.
I would say it is likely to be the above though, as she uses the same laptop and gets the new and old site depending on her locale.
