Opera going mainstream
If you still have not heard of Opera, chances are you haven't been around the net very much. Now, it will be even more difficult to not have heard of it: Opera is the browser of choice for the new Nokia 6600 phones. The Internet capable phones are using Opera for it's Internet browsing feature.
Opera has been considered for hand held apps for a while, due to it's fast, compact engine, and feature loaded code. You can download it free at opera.com Give it a try for a month on your desktop, and you won't go back to using any other browser.

LOL! And if you've been hanging around here for any length of time you must have heard of it! Or do I need to try harder ??? Mark was finally able to put a banner into the rotation for me, which you would see if it was working
Even with the regular version you can switch to small screen anytime. Interesting to see what sites would look like on a handheld.
Go Opera!!!!

So did this just become final recently? I remember reading something about this months on the opera.com site but I don't know if it was just a proposal at that time or if it was final with Nokia.
