Opera, css and optimizing source ;)
I decided to download opera and test out my sites. Before I never cared untill someone in my web publishing class said they perferd it. (I'm testing out of the class BTW)
A parently opera doesnt suppord background images in css?? the menu options on the menu or optimal source dissapear!! http://www.optimalsource.biz
I though Opera was supposed to be a good browser?
I dont care for the gui anyway.

Thats Why you should always check for browser compatibiltities... I spend much time making sites crossbrowser compatible....

OPera has the best support of CSS out of any browser out there. I don't know what you're doing and why it wouldn't work. Try validating your CSS.
As for the user interface - give it a chance. You can get rid of that top row of buttons if you want. Check out the other features and try using it for awhile. Sometimes it's hard to switch to something you're not used to. Opera was pretty strange to me at first but I got used to it after awhile (especially the mail client!!).

Just checked - your site looks the same to me in O as it does in IE so I'm not sure what you're talking about

On any page other than the splash page there is no menu options...

The error is in this line....
document.getElementById(who).style.backgroundImage = "url('images/menu20.jpg')";
'Works fine In firefox and IE.
I know its not the "document.getElementById()" Because that changes the other images like that.
