Opera 9.5 released
Opera 9.5 was officially released today. Has anyone tried it yet? I am noticing significant speed increases and some javascript bugs I was encountering before have been fixed. The new skin is another big obvious change. Very different from what they had before and from any other browser. I'm mostly liking it so far - looking forward to derivative skins.
I'm also about to try out the new link feature which allows you to share your bookmarks, notes etc. across multiple computers. V. useful!

Uhm, I've downloaded it...simply for web design purposes. I've never been a big fan of Opera for the simple reason that it seems so built up and a bit complex for me. I'm sure it's quite easy to get used to and be familiar with, but I think it's just my laziness getting the best of me. I personally use Firefox because I love the simplistic, light theme I have and everything I need to use is within my own lazy reach.
I'm probably not the best critic of web browsers because I don't use them as much as others and I'm not very critical of the things most people notice, but I think this version of Opera does seem much quicker in most cases (that was one major drawback for me before). I'm one of those people that uses a browser to visit websites. The end.
But I'm glad they are making improvements. I'm not a big fan of that dark theme though.

*let the flaming browser wars begin*
Just kidding...I haven't been able to test the latest versions because they didn't release 64-bit binaries for Linux. I will use it when I need two different sessions on a website at the same time, but I prefer Firefox with all the available extensions. I would take Opera over IE any day though.

so I upgraded to Opera 9.5
It crashes on Yahoo Mail Beta using -- err -- Vista
(It worked before I upgraded)
Anybody else having this problem?
(I mean Opera 9.5 crashing, not using Vista )
