Online Real Time Inventory Control

Hello Everyone and Happy Holidays!

I am looking for a real time inventory control solution.
I am using Mal's E-commerce Shopping cart (what a deal that is!).

I have 2 customers, one sells fish online and another sells tickets, they are both having a similiar problem.

I need a solution that will keep track of inventory so that when a product is out of stock it will not be available. What is happening now is, fish customers are buying and paying for product that is out of stock and unavaiable this time of year and ticket customers are buying seats for events that have already been sold.

Any help would be FANTASTIC!
