Online Donations...
Can anyone recommend or share their experiences with any of the various online donation services out there? My client is looking for a recommendation and I have no personal experience with these groups.
Thanks

paypal is pretty good, ive used them for donations and as a merchant account. theyre reliable, secure, they take a pretty minimal percentage, and you can withdraw your money quickly and easily. the biggest drawback is visitors need to register for a paypal account to make a donation or purchase.

In addition to PayPal, there is the Amazon Honor System which is widely used and pretty good. I've never tried these on my site, but suspect they both work pretty decent.

I'm thinking more along the lines of networkforgood.org

Got a worthy cause?
Suzanne,
I'm looking for a service to refer my nonprofit clients to for online donations to their groups. The one I listed above seems rather prevalent among the non-profit sites I've seen. I know that in Canada, charity.ca is another option but the current client in question is south of the border.
