Old Domain s file name changing.

Hi Friends,

I have some doubt about the filename changing of an old domain. T|It have 3 PR now. But i found there are some filenames to modification. Is it relevant to change the file name and making redirection of the filenames. As i will changes them in my sitemaps. Plz guide me what the necessary steps to taken for it.

If you make any changes to your site that affects your URLs, you should set up redirects. It's not only for your SEO, but for your visitors that might have bookmarked your pages. A simple command in your .htaccess file will take care of them.

Redirect 301 /old_file.htm http://www.example.com/new_file.htm
