If you're looking for a news-posting script, I would recommend NewsPro (http://www.amphibianweb.com/newspro/). It is very easy to use and customizable.

There are also plenty of PERL or PHP Content Management Systems available at http://www.hotscripts.com/ and http://www.cgi-resources.com as well as http://php.resourceindex.com .

Good luck!

I ment php vs asp vs cgi scripts with ssi ...i ment the best for a site need loads of upload everyuday, picture including with every post , sumary fior every article and link to the full article...ability to have many news categories an many archive categories.

I have league news, cup news, national team news, 15-20 different players (weach as category) ..sounds pretty confusing:( I knowwww

You might want to check out NewsPro. It's written in CGI/PERL. Very good. I used it a while ago.

I am still updating without any script though, I am thinking of making a php website...I guess those php websites are very powerful, but I am waiting for someone to do it for me as i have no php knowledge at all:)

http://www.hazememam.com is written in ColdFusion, which means its real simple for them to make their own article posting software by simply updating a database.

if your web hosting supports ColdFusion I could help you setup your website to have easy article posting and listings.
