Need shopping cart with no monthly payments and custom HTML design capabilities
Looking for shopping cart (no monthly payments please!)
Hi, I am looking for a shopping cart system that will allow me to integrate my custom web design into the shopping cart. Also, I need it to be at a reasonable price with no monthly payments if possible. I have the following questions:
1) What shopping cart would you recommend?
2) How do I make sure that my shopping cart is secure? For instance, when a person enters their credit information, etc how do I make sure it is protected?

I have never used a shopping cart before, but I have heard good things about oscommerce. I believe it can be customized, but I have no idea how secure it is. You might want to try hotscripts and read some reviews on the carts they have listed on there.

No! Don't do it! Zencart.com - oscommerce but better! I've just posted about this in another thread

It's funny that you mentioned ZenCart fdy, because I am going to use it!
I found out about it about a week ago and it looks very promising and straight forward...plus, it's FREE.
