Need Help in PHP & MYSQL

Hai Everybody,

Hope I can get my solution here.

I wish to make login page using php and mysql. As a beginner in Php How can I do it?

I wrote php code like mysql_connect(); But I got the message "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in ..." while browsing. I am using IIS as my server. How can I get the remedy?

Pls anyone help me. Eagerly waiting for the reply
