Need help choosing a windows friendly CMS solution
I have a potential client with who's website has an existing directory component that was developed in ASP (.aspx extension).
I've been asked to take over hosting for it, and provide a way to update other pages on the side, via the web. The fact that the site uses asp, therefore requires a windows hosting environment, is setting me back. Otherwise I would be using Joomla, or something similar. But from what I've read, it can be challenging to get those products designed for Linux and apache, to work in windows. Especially a shared hosting server, where you don't really have easy access to permissions and such.
I've found a few seemingly windows friendly CMS products, including DotNetNuke and Kentico, but I don't know anything about them.
I'm interesting in hearing views on how to solve this issue, or feedback on either of the two CMS products I mentioned above.
