MX2004 and PHP

I have no idea if anyone has come accross this before?
I have installed PHAkt extension for php4 in Dreamweaver, my server is configured and I am using Pervasive SQL to create my databases.

Problem is, when attempting to connect to any database when I click the 'select' I get an unexpected error! All is installed correctly and the Macromedia site and interAKT site have no solutions.

Anyone here able to help?
