Hi

Is there a CGI script which allows you to have a different user name and password to access the filman for different parts of the site.

EG:

If I wanted to have someone who could access the files (edit/ delete/ chmod/ upload etc) for the directory /dir/celebrities but I didn't want that user to be able to manage /dir/britneyspears

please help

You might check cgi-resources.com and hotscripts.com to see if any file management scripts offer this feature. I don't know of any off the top of my head but I'm sure there are some already written that will meet your specifications.
