Looking for link checking software

Greetings!

Wonder if anyone is using link checking software they'd recommend. I've been using Watchfire which used to be linkbot for years and just found out they no longer have a desktop app. They have only a hosted solution for $2000/month.

Yep, needless to say that's not going to work for me.

Most of our sites are less than a couple hundred pages. Our company website probably has 500 at most.

Any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!

Chris, have you used that software? What has your experience been with it? I'm thinking about downloading it, but would hate to go through all the set up if it stinks.

dk01, Dreamweaver does come with that capability, as does Frontpage. But in my personal experience, it's not always reliable.

Yep, I use Link Sleuth a lot when checking sites after updates, or looking at potential client sites. Can be surprising how many "we didn't put that in" things can be found Laughing out loud
Can't fault it for the price either.
The other good point (from my POV) is that it isn't JS enabled so it only "sees" what a SE crawler would, great for demonstrating that the super funky asp.net wizard generated drop-down "kewl" menu their designer has just done is going to kill any chance of organic SE results.

Also if you are looking for a automatic check (paid for). There is Seven TwentyFour
