I just downloaded Good Keywords, and it has a pretty decent link popularity checker. It creates little green bar graphs to display the amount of links to your site. I know you wanted a good web site, but perhaps a free software tool is a start?

for me that program is not stable theres always 2-3 of the 5 engines will close befor they spit out somethign.
if i was you i would use http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/
this is very stable it even lets you add competitor sites so you can how your doing vs them and it will add some other site also.

I built one that is a little faster then Marketleaps:
