Legal actions to stop banned member(s)
Hi, this is my first post here, I hope you can help me out,,
I'm having a problem with a returning troubblemaker on my phpbb board. He's been banned countless times both by username and IP, the problem is that he keeps re-registrating under new names using different IP's (might be because he's on dial up?)
I am starting to get really tired of this, but I don't know what to do. Are there anything I can do about this problem. I thought about sending a complaint to his ISP, but will/can they do anything?

Hi,
Try calling or emailing his ISP, while you may well get nowhere fast, you might be lucky enough to get in touch with someone like myself.
I used to work for BT Business Broadband in the UK, and would gladly use any excuse to ban/cancel/otherwise muck about with some t***s account if convinced he really deserved it, you might also be lucky enough to catch that person on thier last day in which case they really dont care if they even get caught...i speaketh from experience

Yes secure is correct contact the ISP because his type of activity is probably against the ISP's Terms Of Service and he could be booted from his ISP!!
