Hi,

Here's the site I made for a business: http://www.sphosting.com/balancescale . There seems to be a problem I can't resolve. Click on Francais. IE, not NS, gives me an error (not on my hd, only online). It happens only when on the french sites, not the english ones. Here's the error:

Line: 2
Char: 1
Error: Syntax Error
Code: 0
URL: http://www.sphosting.com/balancescale/fr/intro-fr.html

I don't know how to get rid of it. I tried a javascript to hide this error (http://www.webreference.com/js/tips/010505.html) but it still shows up. I use Win98, IE 6, Dreamweaver's new release preview and templates if it helps. I don't know what I'm doing wrong so please help me.

Thank you,
DVfreak

PS: Please don't try out the form on the contact page, the business will receive it Smiling.

Some of that code is really messy. What've you got in showroom.js? Does it actually work (showroom.js) online? I suspect that you don't actually have that js file in the "fr" directory, thus the path - SRC="showroom.js" - is wrong. Wink

hey DVfreak - I get that error on the front page - it looks like Abhishek is correct; I get a 404 on showroom.js in the fr folder - however, there may be another problem - you seem to have commented out yer script in showroom.js with - I'd suggest deleting those

Yes, it was showroom.js that caused it. I forgot to remove it from the template file which led to this chain reaction, eh. Thanks for helping, the error is gone!!!
