internet explorer page refreshing

Hopefully I'm in the right place for this. Lately I have been testing a website in multiple browsers/platforms and I have noticed that in Netscape and Safari once you have been to a page you can click back and forth and images, etc. that have already loaded do not need to reload. In IE, it seems that it doesn't matter how many times I go to a page, it still refreshes the entire page everytime. Is there something I can do to prevent everything from constantly reloading in IE?

Play around with the choices given. I use "automatic" (when and if I ever use IE)

Also make sure you have some space in your temp folder. 10-20 mb should be enough.

I have looked at that. I am running OSX on a Mac with IE 5.2 and it doesn't give the automatic option. Any other ideas?
