I would like to add a chatroom and forums to my site that people can only get to in a member's area. I have found sites that will give you password protected areas and some that offer chatroom and forums, but people will have to have a different password to enter each place. I don't know if it is best to write my own script or if there is a site that will do it all for you. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Also if there is a site that shows you how to make your own chat or forums please let me know. Thanks.

If you are looking for a free one try http://xmbforum.com there are hacks that you can have pages restricted to users and a hack called chatterbox for chatting.

I use YaBB for my forums (yabb.xnull.com), it's pretty cool and they have a chat script hack too. I'm looking for a chatroom for my site but I can't find a good free one that isn't saturated with ads. They also usually have no admin features such as kicking, banning, etc...
