Integrating external content

I suppose this would be the same answer for integrating any external content, but if it helps, my particular quest is to integrate Google's Picasa Web Albums into my existing website content. For quite a while I've used Gallery2 for my online photo album. Gallery2 offers a wealth of features but most important to me was that since it was an application installed on my server I could wrap it inside my own website design template for seemless integration. Recently I have been unable to use Gallery2 anymore and I am looking at Google's Picasa Web Albums (PWA) as a replacement option. Simple, clean, free disk space, and I just love Google anyway. But I would love to get PWA inside my website template.

What are my options? Frames suck so lets not even go down that path. An iFrame or similar page-embedding technology may work so I'd love more advice on how to do that with cross-browser compatibility. Are there any other options I haven't thought of?
