Ideea for protecting visitors from user/pass being stolen by keyloggers

Hi,

I had several website users complaining that their username/password were stolen, and requests for resetting the password.

I think that in most cases spy programs or keyloggers were used. I guess most users have some sort of protection ( anti spy software or firewalls ) on their personal computers, but there is litle protection when they use public computers.

I developed a small software tool, that when running blocks any known or unknown keylogger from working, and I have also created a small activeX for it.

I am putting it on my website, and practically no keylogger will work while the user is visiting the site. The downside of the ActiveX is that the yellow tip appears in IE and it will not work on other browsers; plus that some users might be scared by it.

I'm wonder if is this a good or bad idea. What do you think about it? Should I use the ActiveX on the site, or better providing the downloadable version of the small tool that sits in systray?
