I am a new webmistress plz help
Hi.
I am going to become a web mistress with in a week or more. And my boss have said to me that prepare a website management plan that how should you take this responsibility. After meeting him. I asked my self many questions which I and writing here. Please spare a time and tell me that in real word what are the perfect answers for these questions. And are there any more question which I should ask . please let me know I have to submit that plan to my boss as soon as possible.

1. What should be the responsibility of a Webmaster
2. How a website can be managed.
o What are the procedure of website management
o What are those skills a webmaster should know
o How frequently a website can be changed
o Who would throw that a website should be changed.
3. For section of News /Events/Happenings on a website
o About Contents of News
1. Who should authenticate the contents of the news
2. What should be procedure of submitting the news to the Webmaster, should a Webmaster him/her self look for news and events.
3. Who should edit the news and who should check the content’s spelling and grammar and its language
4. Who should decide the time span of a news to be there on web page or there must be a constant time period to change any news (not applicable in case of a very hot event)
5. What mechanism must be followed to archive the news.
o About Images accompanying news
1. What should be the quality of images
2. Which quality should be used? Either GIF or JPEG. And in which case GIF and JPEG should be used
3. Who is responsible for making the pictures/images web ready
4. Any Changes in the Website
o What procedure should be followed when there is necessary to change any content on website

3. By any other person related to the website content (like head of departments and faculties)
