How much money do you make?

Heya, Smiling

I would like to know how much money other webmasters make with their website(s). I am talking about advertisements on your site, not products that you might be selling.

I do not understand why so many webmasters are so reluctant to share this information. Laughing out loud What is wrong with saying how much money you are making?

For example, what is your CTR (if you are using adsense)?

If I was to say £30,000 per day would you believe me? Probably not.

I don't see the point of asking someone how much money they are making and IMHO its actually rather nosy! If someone is making good money from their site they are more likely to keep it to them selves. It's the ones who brag that probably make the least...

I am just interested in knowing if I am making less, same, or more than other webmasters. Comparing visitors/earnings of websites really helps. In case you earn more, it will be really motivating. If you make less, you will what you can be making, etc........

It's not nosy, some people are just too sensitive.

Not sensitive at all. I just see no reason to splash how much I earn all over the web Wink

Anyway...

Most don't share that information because it's unusual to. I mean, say you work at a job. Usually job policies state to NOT share wage information with your co-workers.

When I worked at a fast food place, I wasn't allowed to tell people (friends or co-workers) how much I made per hour...

But anyway, if you really want to find out how much others or making...I'd suggest you just tell us how much you make first. Wink THEN we'd be willing to share that kind of information. Laughing out loud Wink

They only do that so others dont demand the same amount(or more) (for whatever reason), and some other reasons.

From years and years of my many websites.... not a dime. Sad

From adsense marketing of 3rd-party affiliate links... as well as a couple thousand dollars per year profit. ROI around 200%. Not bad except I had constant problems collecting what I was owed. As good as the ROI was, it still wasn't worth the trouble so I don't do it anymore.
