How frequently do you have a website updated?
According to your opinion, how often your website should be updated? What website updates are the most important for a website? What advices would you provide for people who are going to update a website?

Depends on how time-sensitive the content is. If it's just an informative website on some business, the website only needs to be updated as information on the business changes. If it's a content or article site, then it should be updated with a new article probably once a week minimum to keep readers.

Today's "viral" user-contibuted content sites (forums, blogs, image galleries, FaceBook, YouTube etc) are constantly updated - and if they are not, that indicates a lack of community interest.
RSS feeds can also add new contextual content automatically.
Another strategy could be rotating content, which would give the bots "fresh" content (like the silly little tagline under the search here - but you could rotate a more integral element).
On my personal site, netsperience, I add blog posts approx 3-4 per week, I also have a few RSS feeds, the home page has a PR4 (probably due to all my posts here with my link in the sig
)
I actually think the admin/webmaster should not need to change the core content more than once a quarter, perhaps, every 3 months? What would be the point of changing a couple of small parts more regualrly - I do not think that will affect your PR.

i usually update my content website twice a week.
because with update its will make content rich with keywords. and don`t forget we must update content relate with our theme of site.
For example: if we have travel site, we must update content about travel
