how do you put a graphic in a link that's saved as a favorite?
You know when you save a link in your favorites folder and some have logos and some don't........... how do you make it so when someone saves your sites link it includes your logo?

The little graphic that you see is called the favicon. TWF has one.
Firstly, you find or create an icon and put it up on your web server then link to it with this piece of code:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico">

Just an FYI...it does not need to be name 'favicon'. You can call it whatever you want...i.e. myicon.ico.

but FF, NN and Opera will always look for favicon.ico when a page is visited. Only IE uses it solely for bookmarks.

And you have to make it in a proper icon program otherwise some browsers will have difficulties with it. I think the modern browsers (O, FF etc.) will accept gif or png there but IE needs it to be a proper icon. I think - might be a little off on that. I just did the TWF icon a few weeks ago and we did have some problems with IE.

Not true. I never use 'favicon', I use unique names, and the icons are right there in the address bar and in my bookmarks the way they should be.

I've made an icon and put that code in there...but the icon isn't showing, any idea why?

What did you use to create it? Is it not showing in all browsers or just certain ones? Is it a proper icon (created by an icon program) or is it a gif or png file?

Use a proper icon program - there are a number of different options for that. I forget which one I used - will check when I get home and post back.
The great thing about that is you can copy a PNG file right in and create the icon from there. So I was able to take my TWF graphics from Fireworks, resize to 16x16, then import into the icon program.
