How do I set up "If you like this site, tell a friend"?
To my webmaster colleagues,
I want to add a form to my site which would enable my visitors to suggest to friends that they visit my site, which, to my surprise, is now labeled by some major search engines as a "popular site."
My webmastering skills are minimal; for example, I do not have any gif's or frames on my site.
I prefer not to use the services of a "tell-a-friend" firm (the only one I know is Recommend-It) but will if I cannot type the code myself or buy inexpensive software, or buy an inexpensive book, or ?.
I don't earn any money from my site; it's a public service.
I would appreciate receiving advice, suggestions, recommendations, HTML code, or whatever to help me add a "tell-a-friend" feature to my site.

What you want to do will require installing a script on your host server, it really can't be done by HTML alone.
There are plenty of free scripts out there that are available, such as:

I've never installed a script, but you will need to determine what your host allows (do you get your own CGI directory or do they have some scripts available for you to use?) and what scripts will work with your host system.
According to netcraft ( http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph/ ) "The site psychological-hug.com is running Apache/1.3.1.1 SSL/1.15 PHP/4.0b2 on BSD/OS."
I don't know enough about the BSD operating system to know what will work with it, but you've got PHP so you should be able to find a PHP script:
