have you asked them specifics?

What virus program are they using?

What exact virus is it saying it is finding?

What OS / version are they using

What Borwser / version are they using?

I am using Win XP, PC-Cillin Internet Security 2006, browsing with firefox 1.5.0.7 (all with latest updates), and I get no virus warning....

Sounds like it could be spyware on their computer (not yours).
certain spyware can create pop-ups etc for webpages.

tell them to check their homepage as this is usually the first thing spyware changes (but not always), then check if they have (and use) search and destory or adaware

Maybe the virus software is an internet protection suite and is blocking "bad" web sites. It sees the word poison onyour web site and gives a warning.
