Thanks Suzanne for help on my previous post. I have finished editing
and now I want to ftp onto my webspace but under a different domain.

I have looked for the answer on the host's site but can't find it.

I have a lot of webspace and for a while it can accomodate my friends
site as well.

How can I upload my friends site to my webspace because I cannot have
two index.html in my public folder. If I have to create a sub directory or sub domain please explain in non techie terms or
please point me in the direction where i can find this out.

I know about domain forwarding so If i just uploaded it as it was
on his other host as 3 folders(frameset, gfx, content) and 1 index.html this would clash with my index.html file for my site.

I have tried putting the (framed) index file in the content file
and forwarding the domain to mydomain.com/content/index.html but
as yet i am getting an error message.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

When i type mydomain.com/content/index.html it comes
up as page not found but in the address bar it changes to
mydomain.com/content/frameset/frameset.htm ?

Does this make sense?

i have just added a new shared hosting account for this new domain
on my reseller account.

I have uploaded the files to the new account and i got this message.

Name Servers
You should point your domain name at the following name servers:-

ns.hosteurope.com 212.67.202.1
ns2.hosteurope.com 212.67.203.240

or if you would like to hide the name Host Europe you can use our generic name servers:-

ns.web-hosting-dns.com 212.67.202.2
ns2.web-hosting-dns.com 212.67.203.246

Your Shared Files
The root directory for this account is /home/my username/public_html/mysharedaccounts/newsiteusername

I now want to point the domain at this: Do you know what I should use? many Thanks

Contact your registrar and you can use the first two, or the second two, or all four, if you wish.

Thank you Suzanne with helping me out.

Where did you learn all about this webmaster stuff?

Was it trial and error or did you study a course.

I would like to learn this also. Can you recommend courses
on all aspects of webmastering or where to get the knowledge.

Thanks again - this site is great.
