help me setup up downloads
hiya its probably a stupid question but im new to all of this website design etc i am a trader on ebay selling ebooks and as my business grows sending them as email attatchments is proving to be a pain i would like to upload the books to my website and send the purchasers a download link i am using frontpage 2000 and dont know what to do i really need some kind of step by step guide

Make a zip file, put the ebook in that. Upload it to your server. Make a link like example.com/ebook.zip

Or if they are .pdf's you don't even need to zip them really, as some browsers will open them with the plugin or automatically launch Acrobat Reader.
