google to index video
Hot off the presses(cnn) google is going to or already has started I guess indexing video. I am not real clear on it yet. I am not sure if its a retail application but I know it finds content via the closed captioning in the video. I think I got that right.
Likely will appear next to images on their websearch page...

Great idea, with broadband in every house these days. it can be done so quick.

I don't think Google is actually presenting multimedia (yet), just indexing the "close-caption" text.
Pretty cool though. Now I can find out how many times O'Reilly called someone a pinhead in any given episode
