I used the wizzard forum and published. The problem is none of the "home" buttons work. When I highlight the buttons and right click, the drop down menu does not highlight the hyperlink. In preview and preview in browser everything works fine. Alos some of my pages, the text overlaps the pictures in diferent browsers. I am real new to frontpage and computers in general so I hope these are not to simple of questions. Mabey someone could look at my site (hardbodyinc.com) and tell me what else I need to address.
Thanks to anyone who my have info. Tim

Hi Tim,

I noticed that no one had taken a stab at your site so I thought I would see if I could help a bit.

Although I didn't quiet understand what "Home" button you were talking about and didn't see a dropdown menu I did notice several things that you could do to improve. Actually, if you want a full site critique this should be in the Critique section but here goes a few things anyway.

It took the first page about 10 minutes to load on my computer. Reason # 1 being is the image of the ATV has been resized by using height/width tags. What I mean by this is you took a photo that is 1280 X 960 and made it 502 X 273 in your code. You should resize the photo manually in a graphics program. It takes this photo as long to load as one over twice its size and also makes it look distorted. This could explain the overlapping problem that you are having.

#2. Get rid of that awful wav file you have. It took several minutes for that to load and I have to say wasn't worth the wait. I think it woke my daughter once it did load and start to play and my husband came in here and hit me with a broom. HAHA!!! Just kiddin. Wink

That scrolling marquee will make you have the eye jerks trying to look at it. It is totally not cool. Have you sat and looked at this blue scrolling text? Try it and you will see what I mean.

I peeked at your code and think I saw some Greek there. Anyone ever seen this before? Is this an ASP thang? <font face="URWLinearTExtBol">'

As for FP 2000......my advise is to put it in file 13.(trash can)

There are lots more things I would like to say but this should get you started in fixing things a bit.

hi
gonna help you out a bit
first take the first reply to your question and throw that in the trash frontpage is a good tool if you know how to use it.

You said you are publishing your site so i am going to assume you dont have an ftp account correct ? if you do have ftp access i would not publish the site id just ftp it.

the buttons are not showing up because you have an indcorrect folder names for them the path you have listed is _themes/copy-of-industrial/ there is no copy-of-industiral folder on your site
add that folder and add the images or change the folder they are in.

the hyperlink hovers are probably not working because they are dependant on a java file which is probably not in the same folder as the page

outline.js and animate.js

make sure that is in the same folder

try those two things and see how they work

Ill do my sig later
