Frame question
I have an HTML with 3 frames. When I type in the address, it displays correctly. But if I then hit refresh, the 3rd frame duplicates the 2nd frame. The page is here: theantiquetraders.com/td/test1.html
Go to that page, then hit refresh and you'll see what I mean, unless this problem is restricted to my computer. Also, this problem only happens in IE. Netscape properly refreshes the page.

I cannot replicate the error. Assuming your links are targeted properly, it may be an IE problem.
HOWEVER... Frames are a really poor choice for a site that would be able to take advantage of people sharing urls for different products of interest.

Thanks, Suzanne. I tried to talk the owner out of frames, but he wants his website to look like another website he knows of, and insists I do it this way. This site doesn't allow people to share urls for different products, all the products belong to the store. How would you suggest it be done, while maintaining the same feel?
About the error... this thing is weird. After hitting refresh, it's as if I said src='navframenew.html' for 2 of my 3 frames. If I use Tools to delete my temporary Internet files, then hit refresh, it refreshes properly, but if I refresh again, it does not. Thanks for telling me that your computer doesn't duplicate the problem.

While maintaining the same feel? Exactly as it appears but not in frames. The menu on the left is fine, and could be on the page as is. Ditto the header. All that would change is that people could bookmark specific items and send those urls to friends -- i.e. increase exposure and spread word of mouth.
You could use templates in Dreamweaver to control the appearance, or includes (SSI or PHP) instead of frames, to reduce maintenance.
