OMG you guys...if you haven't got this one yet try it out!

Take whole page screenshots, or just visble area. Add annotations with both text and graphical elements.

Save the image, copy it to the clipboard or open it in the graphics app of your choice!

One downfall though..it doesn't grab any flash content so those area's are blank on screenshots of pages that have flash.

Thanks for pointing that out. Looks like it could be quite useful. I just installed it but haven't tested yet. I do wonder though how much that extension weighs down FF.

I have not been on the PC a lot since installing it so I really can't say. But you can disable any extension and enable them as you need them right?

Does disabling a power hungry one reduce the power it needs?

Like if I find one bogs me down and I only enable it when I need to does that matter as far as performance?

The only ones I have are:

  • Web Devloper Toolbar (MUST have-can't live without)
  • Quicknote (Can't live without this one)
  • View Source With(Can't live without this one)
  • Colorzilla
  • English Dictionary(for the spellcheck)
  • Fireshot - Which I won't use all of the time so I can disable/enable as needed

I prefer the Screengrab add-on. I just tried it on a flash page, and it didn't grab the flash portion either. I never knew that. Who needs flash anyway Smiling.

Only 6 eh? Laughing out loud

That's a neat extension, I take screenshots all the time in browser, this makes it a lot easier. I don't even have to open photoshop to make notes on it. Now I need a good screen capturer that works on every app...

I used to use MW-Snap on Windows. Can't remember if it could do annotations or not. I wasn't really all that happy with it. But, for me having something that can scrreen cap any window is much more useful than something that only works in one app.
