Finding a script

Hello,

I have a football site and would like to add a pick'em contest this year, but I'm having trouble finding a perl script for it. A lot of other sites have them, so you would think that there has to be script somewhere.

Unfortunately, I don't have php or mysql. I've also tried the search engines but no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You should really consider changing hosts so you can put all the power PHP and MySQL has to use. But I think we need some examples of this to begin with ... do you have any links of existing implementation?

Well I don't have any examples of this right now because most of the contests wont begin until the season starts, but its like a football pool, people simply pick the winnners of each game and then submit their entry. Their entries are then emailed to or can be accessed by the webmaster. Espn.com and cnnsi.com have these contests every year. I was just hoping to be able to do it on a local scale.

Thanks again

I'm afraid that these types of programs are most likely specifically written by each site and I don't know of any pre-made scripts that do this. Sad

After searching some more, I think something like a form or an e-mail form might be what I need. I'm currently editing one or trying to edit one, hoping to get it to do what I want it to do. I appreciate the help.

BTW - You've got a nice sports site, keep up the good work. :scatter:
