If you are interested in providing web hosting service, you can apply for a reseller or a dedicated server hosting plans. On the other hand, if you are just starting up, you can get a shared hosting plan as it is the cheapest then upgrade if need to. When you want to have a power like a dedicated server but don't want to pay hefty amount, you can subscribe to a virtual private server(vps) plan. Cloud hosting is also a better option for maximum site performance.

I learn my web hosting knowledge when I started working as a freelance. My kind boss taught me how to u manage a dedicated server and use various kinds of tools to access it.

If you don't have any experience about hosting then i will recommend you to use shared hosting plan. It's very easy to access and you can upgrade it at any time by yourself. In my experience i am happy with shared hosting.
