Encrypting a website form

I don't know if this is the right place but here goes. I have forms on my site and I need the information to get from the form to me securely. My hosting people said that SSL is not a good way to do it and they suggested pgp or rc4 (whatever that is). What software should I use to make my forms secure and is it hard to install. Free software preferred if it is available.
