Embed object without reference to <head>

Hi,

I am a beginner (e.g. no HTML savvy at all..) and I used a content management system to build my website. Unfortunately I have no access to the section of the sites HTML code.

I wish to put a photo slideshow on my home page that plays automatically. I don't want a user to have to click a link which opens another window with the slideshow in it, I would prefer that it played as soon as the homepage loaded.

I can create a flash slideshow but have no idea how to embed it into the body of the page without reference to the section.

I would appreciate any help, advice anyone could offer.

You do not need to do anything in the head to add Flash. However, it is recommended that you use a Flash loading script, which could go in the head.

I have also been using the e2 Gallery

And Gallery is an excellent PHP/MySQL database driven gallery with user accounts and RSS and more!
