A site posted by "colorspots" in Critiques used this menu which works in Opera, Mozilla, NS4 and IE. That seems to be quite a rarity so I thought I'd post ths script info here in case others want to use it:

That is a wonderful menu but if you use it on a business site you have to buy a license.

I don't think those lisence fees are that bad. Clearly you're going to have to pay for a good product sometimes, and this is one of the few dynamic drop-downs I've seen that works in all browsers.

I think, though, that DW and/or Fireworks can do a similarly compatible menu system. They use it Here and on most of the sub-sites within that domain. Some of the menus that are used within that site aren't quite as compatible as the one on the front page for some reason though.

G'Day All,
I'm only a newbie so it was too hard for Me but a 'puter literate online friend sent Me this Menu when I was havin cross-browser problems and He assures Me it will work in "any" browser and there is so much scope for people(not me,yet)to adjust parameters everywhere.

Dynamic Drive's definition of "all" does not include Opera in all cases. Some of those worked, but most didn't.

That's a good one you posted, Aussie_Hop.
