If you hit the Enter key you get a paragraph space.

'If you hold down the shift key and press Enter at the same time you get one line break.
'Does this help?

I'm not sure, but does a hard return create paragraphs in Dreamweaver? There is probably something that turns that off, or turns into for you.

I think we need some kind of 'view who else is creating a reply at the same time' panel as this happens quite a lot and is quite funny especially when the replies turn out to be the same

No fun poking going on here, just amused at the simul-advice.

Ok That Worked.
Another question =)
IF you goto half.com you will see that if you don't have your browser full screen the tables don't squash, how can I do that to my tables?

In my browser (800x600) the tables do squash at first, then hold steady as the scroll bar appears along the bottom and the page begins to drift off scrren right. You'll notice that the point it begins to stop squashing is when the the "everything else" tag on top hits the browsers edge. At that point it has reached it's minimum allowed width and it is then FORCED off to the right.
The same thing happens at my website CharlotteMLB.com . I have my table and cells set to expand to 100% screen width, but if you make the browser window smaller, it will stop "squashing" at it's minimum allowed width. In this example, I have four cells along the top. The first, second (the logo part), and fourth are hard coded to a specific width due to graphics. But the third is a flexible width. Once that third cell (with no graphics in it) hits 0 pixels, it can't get any smaller and forces off the right side.
(Phew that was long winded of me )

I am not sure what you are asking here but maybe this will help.
If you want your tables to stay the same size no matter what the screen size is and have a horizontal scroll the you do your table widths in fixed numbers. (table width="750")
If you want your tables to change to the size of the screen then you do your table widths in percentages. (table width="100%")
Hey fife, You changed the look of your CharlotteMLB.com didn't you. Looks nice.

What do you mean by fixed number?
I want my tables to stay the same no matter what screen size, but when you told me to put
table width="750"
THe whole table just blew up.
Did I do it wrong?

If you want the table to stay at a certain width whether viewed at 800*600, 1024*768, 1152*864, or whatever then for the table you need to specify the table width as pixels. In DW click on the table then in the properties panel next to width put 750 then change the adjacent box to show pixels, rather than %. I've done it before and forgotten to change to pixels and you end up with a table of 750%

It blew up did it? LOL Hope you didn't get hurt. *just kidding* Why don't you post a link to the page you are working on so that we can see exactly what you are doing. Might be easier to explain.
