Direction Needed..
Hi, i created a website for my father for his small music studio. He is not exactly the most tech savy person around and has trouble using an ftp program and dreamweaver to update his site. So I found an app that will allow him to upload his files through a page on his site, but i wanted to know if it were possible to get it a little deeper than that.
On his site he has pages that display an album art image, the artist/album title, and his songs. I was wondering if it were possible to sort of auto create a htm page with the text that was entered in the album title field as the title and put all of the songs and information on there in the specified template. To make matters more complecated he bought a flash app that plays music through the browser by looking at an external .xml file, which he loves. I want to have that be created automatically as well.
I understand this is probably getting into some advanced coding and im not asking anyone to do it for me. I just need some guidence and to be put in the right direction. For example; To auto make the page you need a cgi app and to create the xml; you need pearl etc;
Any help in this would be appriciated.

Well it would help to know what this 'app' is that you've used.
BTW..cgi is perl, and you don't need that to create and use xml.

I dont know the name of the app; its just a flash music player to plays certain songs depending on the playlist which happens to be an xml file. i have it set up so each album page has its own playlist and the flash player plays the songs.
i hope this helps
